Your Brand Identity Audit Checklist

A professional and successful brand is one that builds brand loyalty by visually communicating its mission to its audience.

Our brand identity audit checklist allows you to evaluate your brand to see if it’s aligned with your brand’s growth & direction. As you take your audit, identify the items that represent your brand and consider their consistency. Do brand colours and fonts match? Is your logo pixelated, and do you have the right file formats?

Brand Story

Does your brand have a story and history that shape the face of it? This is the first aspect in a solid brand. It communicates your values and goals and is considered in all other creative aspects of the brand.

Great Logo

A great logo is a great tool for attracting your audience and standing out in your market. Your logo should be easy to understand all while accomplishing your brand's goals.

When evaluating your logo, ask yourself these questions:

  1. Are the composition and proportions of your logo correct, creating balance and emphasis?

  2. Is your logo distinct and memorable? Standing out from other brands or your competitors?

  3. Is your logo relevant, does it connect with your audience?

  4. Does your logo adapt and translate appropriately throughout a variety of mediums? (print, digital, apparel, signage)

  5. Is your logo timeless? It could be on-trend now, but an investment should be a timeless design.

  6. Is the composition and proportions of your logo correct, creating balance and emphasis?

  7. Do you have the appropriate logo files to work with? Vector for print, Raster for Digital?

Marketing Materials

Do you have the appropriate marketing material for your brand and does it align with the aforementioned points? Letterhead, business cards, email signature, envelopes, promo material and brand templates for things such as email or social media?

If you answered no to any of these points then your brand may not align with the growth you look to see in your business.
